Recently I was outside in the sun for three days and I sun burned my scalp. It caused me to develop the plaques on my scalp. I imediatley started to use a tea tree oil based shampoo (meleuca wellness com.) and as long as I leave it in for a few mins. and wash every 2 days it keeps it clear! Good luck!

I use a combination of T-Gel and mind over matter.  When it itches during the day, I put my hands in my lap and twiddle my thumbs.  Since I am blond this requires a lot concentration.

I've found that for scalp psoriosis Herbal Glo Shampoo for Psoriasis and Itchy Scalp (as prescribed by my naturopath) and bialanyn cream for patches on rest of body have provided for much improvement.... in combination with a change in diet where I've cut out sweets, dairy, canned goods, red meat, fried food, coffee, alcohol(getting better at this one), white flour, tomatoes, and citric fruits...on the other end i've been eating more fish, fruit, vegetables....and lastly getting enough sleep and controlling stress(as much as possible) have had positive benefits....
