My P started at age 8 ( i am now 30) on my finger nails.  The only thing that has made it go away for any length of time is Cyclosporine, which is bad for your kindeys and liver, etc....so i wont be trying it again.  I will say that it was nice to be clear for a couple months though.  Other than that, certain spots heal on their own, and new ones pop up as well.  Thats it from me.

Mine started at age 9 (arms, legs, back, & scalp), I am now 42 and still have it on my arms, legs, and now ears, and nails. I have less coverage now than when I was younger, but it has never completely healed. I am currently going for laser treatments and am praying for a miracle. I just want to know what it feels like to be normal even if only for awhile!! My Grandma had it and poured clorox on them to get rid of them .. worked for her (I have not tried this myself and would not recommend it). My dad was fortunate, his cleared on his own when he was 18 ... seems I got the most stubborn bout of it out of all the family. Oh well ... life goes on :)
